Linnea Semmerling, Tessa Cramer and Tinneke van der Schoor have recently successfully defended their PhD theses.
The PhD defenses had to be moved to an online platform, but took place in public and according to the usual protocols. Congratulations to the newly minuted Doctors!
Linnea Semmerling defended her PhD thesis Listening on display: exhibiting sounding artworks 1960s-now on April 30, 2020. Her project was funded by NWO through the PhD in the Humanities programme and was supervised by Karin Bijsterveld and Peter Peters.
Tessa Cramer defended her PhD thesis Becoming Futurists, reluctant professionals searching for common ground on May 15, 2020. Her supervisors were Marjolein van Asselt and Harro van Lente. You can read a newspaper article, in Dutch, about Tessa’s research here.
Tineke van der Schoor defended her PhD thesis Strategies for Energy Reconfigurations – Obduracy, values and scripts on May 28, 2020. Her supervisors were Harro van Lente and Alexander Peine (Universiteit Utrecht).
